The
Liverpool Scottish (Currently Platoon Strength)
The
Liverpool Scottish was formed as an infantry battalion in 1900 in
response to the crisis of the Boer War. With HQ established in Fraser
Street in the Liverpool City Centre, the home of the Scottish until
1967, the Battalion was redesignated in 1908 on the establishment
of the Territorial Force as the 10th (Scottish) Battalion, The King's
(Liverpool Regiment).

The
Kings Regiment
Formed
in 1685, the King's Regiment now comprises the 1st or Regular Battalion,
stationed with its families in Bourlon Barracks, Catterick Garrison,
North Yorkshire since March 2001, and the Territorial Army companies
of the King's and Cheshire Regiment which has King's Regiment bases
in Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester and Ashton-Under-Lyne. The
Colonel in Chief is HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The
Cheshire Regiment
The
Cheshire Regiment if one of the many parts that make up the Kings
& Cheshire Regiment. They to have a proud history, as the Kings
and Liverpool Scottish.
