TRAVEL IN EUROPE

Obviously being a British Armed forces unit, most of our training is done in the United Kingdom and around Europe.

This doesn't mean that joining A Company KCR means you'll only have the opertunity to train in the sunny North West! Far from it.

TRAVEL IN CANADA

A Company KCR have had the opertunity over the years to take part in a number of military exercises over in Canada.

Most recently a contigent of A company personel took part in the Canadian Army's "Basic Mountain Operations Course", that every one of its Light Infantry soldiers must pass before joining their Battalion.

This consisted of mountain climbing, abseiling and death slides all in the world renown Rockies.

Throughout the year members of the company have the chance to train with the regular army as attactched personel, many of these are in Canada.

TRAVEL IN AFRICA

How many people can say that they've scuba dived in Kenya?
Not many I bet. Well many of our company can.

During the late 1990's a contingent of personel took part in an exercise with the Regular Army in deepest darkest Africa.

If that wasnt enough they then went on to Scuba Diving school!

TRAVEL IN AMERICA

USA is for many the land of opertunity, well for A Company its the land of M16's with attached grenade launchers.

We have been able to test some of the worlds best weapons over the years and America was just one of the opertunities.
